Join us for this virtual Connect Harwell Nxt Gen: Speaker Session!
Pop the kettle on, grab a snack and settle in to hear Nxt Gen colleagues Jasmine Hind, Tristan Canfer and Rosie de Laune from the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source, share their campus career stories.
Jasmine will share her journey from sandwich placement into the ISIS support labs whilst Tristan tells of his apprentice’s route into ISIS. Rosie will talk about her path from an ISIS user to a member of the impact team. Following these inspirational stories, there will be plenty of virtual networking opportunities with your Nxt Gen colleagues.
ISIS Neutron and Muon Source is a world-leading centre for research in the physical and life sciences at the STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. Their suite of neutron and muon instruments gives unique insights into the properties of materials on the atomic scale.
They support a national and international community of more than 2000 scientists for research into subjects ranging from clean energy and the environment, pharmaceuticals and health care, through to nanotechnology and materials engineering, catalysis and polymers, and on to fundamental studies of materials.

As a central hub, we signpost and organise events and opportunities to support integration into Harwell Campus life.
